Description
by C. Lee McCormick
This spelling program is based on the successful actions of the past; actions that produced amazingly competent spellers. Students were shown that breaking words into syllables usually makes them easier to spell; that every syllable has at least one vowel in it; that the definition of a word must be known before attempting to spell it; that “most-used” words should receive the most attention; that dictation gives necessary practice for accurate spelling and excellent writing skills, that words should be practiced until their correct spelling is perfectly accomplished.
